Q. Can we choose our own place for our wedding?

A. Yes.  You can choose your own wedding venue.  It can be by the beach, garden, cruise ship, hotel, wedding chapel, etc.

Q. What are your basic requirements for a couple to be married?

A. You must have a marriage license from your local county courthouse where you are planning to have your wedding.

There is a required interview with the officiating priest or deacon to discuss the following: The meaning and purpose of marriage and wedding rites.

Q. What is our financial obligation to the officiating priest or deacon?

A. There is a deposit of $150.00 to confirm the date, place and minister for your wedding. In addition, the balance of $350.00 is due two weeks before the wedding day. Thus, the total financial obligation is $500.00.

Q. Do couples wanting to get married need to go through a pre-Cana workshop?

A. We do not require pre-Cana workshop, engaged couples weekend, etc.
