Want a Catholic Wedding but...

There are  many circumstances that prevent couples from celebrating a Catholic Wedding ceremony. These circumstances might include:

Divorce: A previous marriage with no church annulment

Location: Arrangements for a ceremony in a location other than a parish church.

Interfaith: A desire for "neutral ground" and a co-officiant from another religious tradition for interfaith couples. 

Restrictions: The incompatibility of other diocesan restrictions with your particular needs.

STEPS IN THE PROCESS OF ARRANGING FOR A PRIEST TO BE PRESENT AT YOUR WEDDING

Complete and submit the application for marriage.

You will be contacted by a representative of the national coordinator.

After determining your needs, a priest in your area will be assigned to celebrate your wedding.

The total cost for having one of our priests assigned to you is five hundred dollars.                                             

A non-refundable  deposit of $150.00 is expected to guarantee the availability of a priest for your wedding. The balance of $350.00 will be billed to you two weeks before your wedding.

CELEBRATE AT THE LOCATION OF YOUR CHOICE

Our priests are authorized to celebrate your wedding at locations other than a parish church.

Some of the possibilities may include:

A non-Catholic church or wedding chapel

A garden, home or hotel

A park, aboard a boat or at the beach
